The Energy Industry Partnership is governed by the Energy Industry Leaders who retain all voting powers. The valuable connections and partnering efforts between Energy IP and these organizations are crucial to the long-term success and growth in meeting tomorrow’s workforce needs.

The Energy IP also serves as a valuable communication network to school districts, universities, community colleges, economic and workforce development agencies, industry associations, government agencies, chambers of commerce, unions, etc.

Upcoming Lecture Series:

The Center for Sustainability at Johnson College has announced its Fall Lecture Series. The Center is offering this series to the public in order to promote a regional understanding and application of green and sustainable energy concepts. Building professionals and homeowners are invited to attend.

The first aspect of the Fall Lecture Series includes three information sessions to help people go green and save green. These sessions are being offered free of charge as a special gift to the community.

Partnership member Lisa Alexander – the “Queen of Green” – will present all three lectures. Ms. Alexander, a member of the Center for Sustainability’s Program Advisory Committee, is an authority on sustainable living and green building. She is a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design Accredited Professional by the United States Green Building Council), Certified EcoBroker & Ecosociate, Green Living Expert, Corporate Sustainability Officer, and Sustainable Green Building Consultant. Solar Innovations, Inc., a recent addition to Schuylkill County, is an international industry leader in designing, manufacturing, and installing high quality aluminum and glazed windows, doors, skylights, and structures, renewable energy products and installations, and green industry job training from Solar Innovations, Inc.’s green facility located in Pine Grove, PA.
